WELCOME TO LITTLE FLOWER VIDYANIKETHAN, MONIPPALLY

  • Little Flower Vidyanikethan was established in 1993 under the name Sanjo English Medium School in the St. Joseph’s Udayagiri Church Campus. It is an initiative of Missionaries of Little Flower (MLF), a catholic religious congregation founded by Arch Bishop Mar. Joseph Powathil, Arch Bishop Emirates Arch Diocese of Changanassery. It is run and managed by Little Flower Educational Trust Reg.No.100/4/2000. In 1998 the school management owned a property in Achickal and the new school building was inaugurated by former Finance Minister Late Sri. K M Mani, and blessed by Mar. Joseph Pallickaparambil, Bishop Emirates of PalaI. This school is a fully fledged secondary school affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations and is conducting classes from play school to STD 10. We believe that learning is a lifelong process; it is a journey, not a destination. We have students from a variety of backgrounds with different skills and abilities. The diversity of our school programme offers real-life experiences for students to learn and grow. Each member of the staff works hard to provide the best possible learning experience for each child through new instructional strategies and techniques. We are aware that community is developed through character education and social skills learning, which are integral parts of the daily routine. The student friendly campus and atmosphere is our main specialty. We focus on the spiritual development of each student and also encourage the students to face the challenges in life. St.Theresa of Lisieux is our Patroness who had a deep faith in the fatherhood of God and brotherhood of man and devoted herself to the cause of Divine Love.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Education is the most powerful weapon which can change the World” – Nelson Mandela

This quote always inspires us and I feel honored to share the successful journey of Little Flower Vidyanikethan. LFVN delivers enriched curriculum to enhance each child’s learning. The philosophy of LFVN represents a progressive education style, focused on intellectually stimulating inquiry, collaborative and research-based learning for our students. Our academic and extracurricular achievements over the past years have been exemplary and that is the true reflection of our Vision and Mission.

We offer a broad curriculum and a range of opportunities for all our students to achieve excellence in academic, creative, social, cultural, sporting and community endeavors.

We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity among our students to effectively allow them to engage in the world of the future, where problem solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating are not only valued concepts, but expected skills and capabilities

We support the individual well-being of our students and provide a school environment that allows every student to thrive as they work towards achieving their personal best performance. We set high expectations for our students and work hard to safeguard positive emotions across our school community. We are partners in learning with our students and seek to deepen their knowledge, provide enriching and innovative learning experiences, while also gently urging our students out of their comfort zone to attempt new challenges.
We value relationships and connections with the community. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers and the community. We instill in our students a keen Social conscience and the capacity to make ethical decisions. We are proud to be a high performing school and aim to be the selective school of first choice for all families within our community.

I feel proud to jot down a few lines for School’s news bulletin and highlight the unique qualities of LFVN. I am sure that we are preparing the future leaders and role models of society true to our motto ‘Love and Serve’.
